Depositing

Step 1: Visit the Cega Application

To get started, open your web browser and go to app.cega.fi.

Step 2: Connect Your Wallet

Once on the Cega platform, you will see a "Connect Wallet" button at the top right corner of the page. Click on it and a list of network options will pop up. Select a network. Next, a list of wallets will pop up.

If you are using Ethereum or Arbitrum, you can connect using:

  • MetaMask

  • Coinbase Wallet

  • WalletConnect

If you are using Solana, you can connect using:

  • Phantom

  • Solflare

Select the wallet you've set up and follow the prompts to connect it.

Step 3: Browse Cega’s Vaults

After your wallet is connected, you can start browsing the available investment vaults on Cega.

Each vault will display key information you should be aware of before investing. Ensure you fully understand the risks involved in investing in the vault of your choice.

Step 4: Invest in the Vault of your Choice

Once you've chosen a vault, click on it for more details. Here you will see the vault investment summary, specs, and more.

  1. Enter the amount you wish to deposit in the provided field.

  2. Select ‘Preview Deposit’ to review the details of your deposit.

  3. Confirm the deposit by selecting ‘Approve and Deposit’.

  4. Follow the prompts to approve the transaction in your wallet.

Vaults begin every week on Thursday. Deposits made prior to the start date and time of the vault are queued. Once the queue is processed, you will receive vault tokens and will begin earning yield after the vault trade is executed. Please note: there is no 1:1 relationship between the amount of vault tokens you hold and the tokens deposited.

Ensure you have enough gas!

Remember that all interactions with the Cega product are powered by smart contracts on the blockchain. Always ensure you have sufficient gas fees (in ETH for Ethereum & Arbitrum and SOL for Solana) to complete your transactions.

That's it! You have successfully deposited funds in a Cega vault. Now see how to track your investment and monitor your yields.
