Getting Started - Ethereum
Set up a Wallet on Ethereum
Install MetaMask (as a browser extension) and follow the prompts to securely set up your account. Note: Cega also connects to Coinbase Wallet & WalletConnect.
Get ETH on Ethereum
Follow any method below to get ETH in your wallet on Ethereum:
Method 1 โ Withdraw ETH from a centralized exchange
If you already hold crypto on a supported exchange, we recommend this method.
Withdraw ETH directly to your Arbitrum wallet from a supported exchange (Binance, KuCoin, Huobi, OKX, Bybit, Bitget, Crypto.com, MEXC).
Method 2 โ Bridge ETH from a different chain
If you already hold crypto on a non-Ethereum chain, we recommend this method.
Bridge ETH from your current chain to Ethereum using a bridging platform such as Connext.
Supported chains include Arbitrum, BNB Smart Chain, Avalanche, Fantom, Optimism, and more.
Method 3 โ Use a Fiat On-Ramp
If you donโt hold crypto on-chain or on a supported exchange, we recommend using a fiat on-ramp, which allows you to convert from fiat currencies into crypto in your wallet.
Note: fiat on-ramps will have higher fees, longer processing times, transaction limits, and will only be available for certain regions / currencies / payment methods.
Go to Ramp and follow the prompts.
Make sure to search for and select โEtherโ in the โyou getโ dropdown list.
Get USDC on Ethereum
You must use USDC for all investments on Cega. Follow any method below to get USDC onto Arbitrum.
Method 1 โ Withdraw USDC from a centralized exchange
If you already hold crypto on a supported exchange, we recommend this method.
Withdraw USDC directly to your Ethereum wallet from a supported exchange (Binance, KuCoin, Huobi, OKX, Bybit, Bitget, Crypto.com, MEXC).
Method 3 โ Swap within Arbitrum
If you already have other assets on Ethereum, you can swap those assets for USDC using a decentralized exchange that operates on Ethereum (Uniswap, 1inch).
